We designed the HMI features of the Apple Car with level 3 autonomy (partial autonomy), envisioning what impact Apple might bring to the automotive industry.

Different colors (blue/purple) have been adopted to indicate human driving/autonomous driving modes. Bring classic Apple Apps/widgets to the CarOS, seamlessly integrate with the Apple ecosystem

Essential Driving Data/Autonomous Journey Overview

Active Autonomous

The navigation and steering wheel will remind driver when on the highway that allow active autonomous. Long press the button the enter the auto driving mode. The car will adjust the environment base on the preset.

Autonomous Environment Preset

Drivers could set their preferred auto driving interior environment, including darkness of windshield, brightness of screen, steering wheel position, seat position & ambient light. After activating autonomous driving, the car will enter the settings seamlessly
